A man from Derby has been charged with failing to comply with a notice, contrary to Section 53 of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000.

Haabil Siqander appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday 5 August, where he entered a not guilty plea and will next appear at the Central Criminal Court on August 28, 2026.

The 18-year-old was arrested in December 2025 as part of an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing North East.
