Three charged with terrorism offences

Three people have been charged with preparing an act of terrorism after an investigation into suspected "Extreme Right Wing" activity.

Brogan Stewart, Marco Pitzettu and Christopher Ringrose are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

All three had their homes searched during the pre-planned, intelligence-led operation.

Each of the trio are charged with preparing an act of terrorism under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.

A 46-year-old man was also arrested and released without charge.
