Culprits behind nerve agent attack ‘will be found’

Neil Basu has said he is confident that the culprits behind the recent Salisbury nerve agent attack would be found, but conceded that the inquiry would be prolonged. Scotland Yard’s counter terrorism chief, who only stepped into his new role this month, said the investigation into the nerve agent attack against the former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, could last until the summer. The authorities have contacted 131 people who could have been exposed to the nerve agent and have steel barriers behind the Mill pub, one of the places the Skripals visited before they fell ill.
