Taliban suicide attacks kills 12 in Afghanistan

Militants in the Paktia province of Afghanistan have claimed that 12 people have died after a Taliban suicide car bomber and gunmen attacked a provincial Afghan police headquarters. The attack in Gardez, which also wounded 60 people, has seen both civilians and security forces among the casualties. Reports, which are yet to be confirmed, state that the provincial police chief was among the dead. However, the Interior Ministry has confirmed that at least two attackers were also killed.
