Martyn's Law campaigners begin Manchester to London walk

Martyn's Law campaigners including Figen Murray, Nick Aldworth and Brendan Cox have begun their walk from Manchester to London.

The walk aims to raise awareness and publicity for their campaign.

The group began the walk on Tuesday at Manchester Arena, the site of a terrorist attack in 2017, in which Figen Murray's son Martyn Hett was killed. Martyn's Law is named after him.

The group will be stopping off at other sites on the way including The Glade of Light in Manchester, and the 7/7 Memorial in London and will arrive in London on 22 May, the seventh anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack.
