British men accused of funding Paris attacks suspect

Two British men have been accused of giving money to Paris attacks suspect Mohammed Abrini, according to a report from the BBC. Abrini is thought to be the ‘man in the hat’ who was captured on CCTV fleeing the scenes in Paris on 13 November after his bomb did not detonate. Mohammed Ali Ahmed and Zakaria Boufassil, both 26, have appeared in court for allegedly giving Abrini £3,000 when he was in Birmingham last year. They appeared alongside Soumaya Bouffasil, 29, who faces allegations of collecting money for terrorist purposes. All three were remanded in custody and are due to appear at the Old Bailey in London on 13 May.
