London woman arrested under Terrorism Act

A 63-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of arranging funds or property for the purposes of terrorism contrary to Section 17 Terrorism Act 2000. The Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command executed a search warrant at an address in north London on Thursday 22 February under Schedule 5 of the Terrorism Act 2000. The suspect was taken into custody, but has subsequently been released under investigation. The Metropolitan Police have said that enquiries are continuing.
