Terrorism arrest in Salford

Police have charged a 33-year-old man with terrorism offences in Salford, following a raid at his house.

Christopher Partington has been accused of seven counts relating to possessing documents or records likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

Partington is in custody and due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 16 May.
