Man arrested by Counter Terrorism Command

A 27-year-old man has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts.

Supported by local officers, the Met's Territorial Support Group and firearms officers, the CTC arrested the man in east London on 13 April on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of a terrorist act. A 24-year-old woman was arrested at an address in north London on suspicion of having information about acts of terrorism as part of the same investigation.
