Explosion at Manhattan bus terminal, New York

A man is being held after an attempted terror attack at America’s largest bus terminal, Port Authority, officials say. The man detonated a pipe bomb that was strapped to his body at the start of the morning rush hour. The suspect was wounded and fire officials say four people were injured, but none were in danger. White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said President Donald Trump had been briefed on the incident. Bill De Blasio, Mayor of New York, said: “The terrorists will not win. We will keep being New Yorkers.”
