Two charged for preparation of terrorist acts

Two men have been charged with terrorism offences following their arrest by officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command on 28 November.

Naa’imur Zakariyah Rahman, 20, and Mohammed Aqib Imran, 21, from London and Birmingham respectively, have been charged with the intention of committing acts of terrorism engaged in conduct in preparation for giving effect to that intention.

Rahman has additionally been charged with the intention of assisting Mohammed Aqib Imran to commit acts of terrorism engaged in conduct in preparation for giving effect to his intention of committing acts of terrorism.
