Prestwick utilises a tried and tested process for selecting its partners and regularly visits all suppliers to maintain the standards required. A business audit is carried out at least once per year which reviews all aspects of the business, including audit to a minimum standard of ISO9001:2008

Prestwick is itself approved to ISO9001:2008, and has extensive knowledge of the requirements of TS16949.

Regular benchmarking is carried out to ensure the services offered match or exceed customers expectations.

Prestwick can supply all specifications of PCBs at any volume.

The types of technology offered are very varied, but include mixed builds, layer count up to 30 layer, flex-rigid, track and gap down to 50 microns, as well as the standard double sided and multilayer products more commonly used.

Lead times from Asia start at 5 days for small volume and 14-20 days for production quantities. For quicker supply we can turn to European suppliers who can provide 24 hour lead time for prototypes.

Long term contracts are in place with all partners which help to provide economic, fixed  costing and terms and conditions over a number of years.

With Prestwick experience in pcb manufacture, assistance in design for manufacture happens as a routine. All Prestwick account managers are very experience in all processes and offer technical and quality assistance and support as required. This is closely supported by personnel based in Asia. Each customer has one point of contact for all matters.

As required Prestwick can provide stockholding and consignment stockholding as required to provide a flexible service to the customers.

LEDS
During 2011 Prestwick identified a natural related product to offer to its customer base.

LED lighting utilises pcb assemblies to provide a more cost effective lighting solution. In addition to energy reduction, LED lighting offers superior quality lighting and extremely long life with no health hazards.

It can be used for all lighting requirements, in domestic, commercial and industrial areas. Combining solar energy with LED lighting using PIR has been shown to provide a very cost effective solution to security, especially in areas where power is not readily available.

With the recent advances in technology LEDs are ready for the mass market and can be fitted in most cases as a direct replacement to existing fittings. For low voltage LEDs, a specific LED driver must replace the traditional transformer. LEDs can now be supplied with a choice of colours.

LEDs are very robust and have a long life….over 50,000hours. All LEDs supplied by Prestwick are manufactured using the best chips available, and are guaranteed for 2 years.

LED lights provide the most cost effective efficient way of lighting your home or business. The running costs of LED lights can be as low as 10% when compared to conventional bulbs.
